New to GaRID? Start Here. This application is for individuals who have never held GaRID membership. Before you apply, please review the membership guidelines below to ensure you are eligible and prepared to submit your information.

Membership Requirements

GaRID’s membership year runs July 1–June 30.
Applicants who join between April and July will have their membership extended through the next cycle.
Returning members: Please log in to your existing account and renew rather than submitting a new application.

Verification Required:

RID-linked categories require active RID membership verification.
Student applicants must submit proof of eligibility to membership@garid.org.

All payments are processed online only and membership dues are non-refundable.
Please be sure you are ready to proceed before submitting your application.

Associate Member - $22.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: July 1st No automatically recurring payments Any individual who is an Associate member in good standing of RID.
This membership gives you voting privileges with GaRID and RID.

Certified Member - $32.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: July 1st No automatically recurring payments Any individual who is a Certified member in good standing of RID.
This membership gives you voting privileges with GaRID and RID.

Student Member - $12.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: July 1st No automatically recurring payments Any individual who is currently enrolled in a sign language interpreting program/interpreter training program and who is a Student member in good standing with RID.
This membership does not have voting privileges.
Please register using your student email address.

Supporting Member - Business - $100.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: July 1st No automatically recurring payments Any organization or business with an interest in supporting the purposes of GaRID.
This membership does not have voting privileges.

Supporting Member - Individual - $12.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: July 1st No automatically recurring payments Any individual with an interest in supporting the purposes of GaRID.
This membership does not have voting privileges.

GaRID is a 501(c)(6) non-profit organization and Georgia’s official affiliate chapter of the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, Inc. (RID), the national organization that supports and advances the interpreting profession.
