The Highs of High-Visual Interpreting in Educational Settings:

This three-hour workshop focuses on strategies for interpreting for students who possess a “High Visual Orientation” style of learning. Participants will practice using techniques that are taught using academic source materials. 

Analyze This! : In-depth Analyses of ASL and English Samples in K-12 Settings

Participants will investigate various theories and frameworks that teach interpreters how to unpack source text for students to make material accessible for students. Participants will analyze two ASL and then two English sources to practice these techniques.
